Curtain-type Ultrafiltration Membrane Module

    I. What is the Curtain-type Ultrafiltration Membrane Module?

The curtain-type ultrafiltration membrane module is a water treatment device based on membrane separation technology. Ultrafiltration membrane removes suspended solids, bacteria, viruses, and macromolecular substances from water. Its structure resembles a curtain and consists of multiple ultrafiltration membrane sheets fixed by support structures to form a parallel flow channel system. It is commonly used in waste liquid treatment, drinking water purification, and industrial water reuse.

Suitable for brine, alkaline effluent, acidic effluent and organic solvent waste and specialty separations; no pH limit; stable to common acids, bases, salts and aromatic/aliphatic hydrocarbons, except strong solvents, concentrated HNO₃ and H₂SO₄.

PVDF or modified PPSU fibers made by a proprietary spinning process; high toughness, stress-crack resistance, integrity and durability.

Chemical-resistant PVDF/PPSU with long-term hydrolysis stability; withstands high-concentration NaClO and acids; flux maintained by chemical cleaning; tolerance up to 8,000 ppm; suitable for long-term high-temperature disinfection.

• Stable flux

Special spinning process provides high water permeability and fouling resistance, ensuring high and stable flux for different water sources.

Delivers optimal filtered water quality with minimal turbidity and effective pathogen removal (6-log). With a 50 kDa MWCO and narrow pore size distribution, the membrane effectively removes bacteria, pathogens such as Cryptosporidium, and macromolecular organics, improving biological treatment efficiency.
