Working principle of MVR technology: Traditional single-effect or multi-effect evaporator uses fresh steam produced by boiler as heating steam, heats the liquid to boiling point through heater to evaporate and produce secondary steam, and then condenses into condensed water with cooling water. The heat energy in the secondary steam is transferred to the cooling water and then diffused into the air, resulting in waste of heat energy and consumption of cooling water. The MVR evaporator uses a steam compressor to mechanically compress the secondary steam generated by the heater, thereby increasing the pressure, temperature, and thermal enthalpy of the secondary steam, and then sends it to the heater to replace the fresh steam, thereby realizing efficient thermal cycle of evaporator. This process can be driven by only a small amount of electrical energy. Shangchen HEMVR evaporator can also be understood as an open heat pump. The function of the steam compressor is not to generate the heat required for evaporation, but to transport the heat of secondary steam to form a heat cycle.
Shangchen standard skid-mounted ModMVR evaporative water recovery equipment relies on HEMVR heat pump technology and consists of a steam compressor, evaporator, crystallizer, centrifuge, electrical automatic control system, etc. It drives the steam compressor with a small amount of electricity to achieve full secondary steam recycling. It is an energy-saving evaporator developed for material concentration and zero discharge of high-salt wastewater.
