Hebei Zhongci Electronic Technology Co., Ltd. is a holding company of the 13th Research Institute of China Electronics Technology Group Corporation, mainly providing high-precision special electroplating connection device products for aerospace, military electronics, and other fields.

In August 2017, Shangchen Environment, with its absolute professional advantage in the field of electroplating wastewater zero discharge, was awarded this military zero discharge project. The project was undertaken in the form of design and construction general contracting + operation (EPC+O), with a service period of 10 years. The wastewater treatment capacity of the project is 500 cubic meters per day, divided into seven types of wastewater, including pretreatment cleaning wastewater, cyanide-containing wastewater, gold-containing wastewater, chromium-containing wastewater, etc. Through Shangchen Environment's proprietary "zero discharge" technology for electroplating wastewater, the wastewater is treated and fully reused.

The project took several months from construction to completion and was successfully commissioned in July 2018. At the current stage, the production reuse water has an electrical conductivity of 15.9 μS/cm, and the high-purity water has an electrical conductivity of less than 0.1μS/cm, with a wastewater reuse rate of over 97%. Shangchen Environment's zero discharge treatment system has achieved the recycling of water resources, significantly reduced wastewater treatment costs, reduced solid waste, and simultaneously resourceized the metal ions in the wastewater.
